It's been a good hot dry summer. I'm actually updating my website with a chromebook right now which is crazy to me because I am using a Linux terminal and ssh to access my web server. I just bought this chromebook a few days ago just for web browsing and streaming. I owned one a decade ago and loved it (understanding their limitations). Then with some reaearch I discovered that chromebooks have a provision for installing a Linux terminal. I cannot believe how useful to me this chromebook just became. I can actually program with it.
So this will be my one entry for August. I drilled a shallow well at the 20 acres. I also built a shooting platform for handgun, small bore rifle, and shotgun. It doubles as a blind. I can attach my clay thrower on the side of the building. In July Ryan and I went on a day trip to my 40 acres and had lunch. I also inroduced Ryan Outdoors to Hippie Chuck. The summer has been so dry that a local rancher was able to hay my wet meadow.
