3D Printing Page

My 3D printer is a Printr Bot Play. It has a fairly small print area(4x4x5), but I find it big enough to meet my needs. If I need something larger, I design it in several pieces and glue it together. The print quality is quite high and it is plenty fast. It is built well and I like the software bed leveling. I use Cura for slicing. My go to fast 3D software is tinkercad. I find it powerful enough for most of my needs. It is a completely cloud based application. I can store my projects on line and download the .stl files as I need them. This is a compilation of a bunch of my 3D printer projects. Some I designed and some have been designed by others.

Here is my 3D printer. It makes nice prints and has been pretty reliable so far. It takes up less space then my printer.

This is a screen shot of Cura. The design is my own. It is my rendition of the Tardis from Dr. Who. The 3D version of the Tardis is pictured next to the Cura screen shot.

Here is a part that I built for the printer shortly after I got it. The original part was thinner and prone to cracking. I found the .stl file on thingiverse.com.
